I was a Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at Leeds Beckett University, UK. I hold several academic positions including Visiting Professor at Kedge Business School, France and University Des Mascareignes in Mauritius. I give guest lectures on Research Methods and Philosophy and Social Responsibility. I also supervise PhD students internationally. I am currently the CEO of Samy Medical Group Pty Ltd which operates wholly owned Medical Practices and joint ventures with Solis Health a Psychology and Psychiatry Service, Skin Hub a Skin Cancer and Cosmetics Clinic and Purity Health, Menopause and Women’s Health Centre.

My name is Dr Purity Carr, I’m a GP and Menopause Doctor. I graduated from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine in 2012. I was born in Kenya and emigrated to the U.K. in 2000. I went into Medicine as a mature student and a single mother. I was inspired by reading the books ‘Think Big & Gifted hands by Dr Benjamin Carson. I went on to qualify as a GP in the United Kingdom in 2017. I worked for NHS, Airforce, and then Army till 2019. I emigrated to Australia in Jan 2020. In Australia, I worked in busy mixed billing medical centres in Rockingham, then in the Mandurah region. On 4th July 2022, Dr Purity Carr Menopause Clinic in partnership with Samy Medical Group opened our doors to our first Menopause patient.
